What to do?

I am seriously thinking about trying to write a book... about this whole Audrey/Barbara story.  Seriously!  But, it would be written much different than this.  More content, etc... As a matter of fact, I tested the waters a bit and I have completed one chapter.

Obviously, it's going to take me awhile. I need to do some research and stuff.  Who knows how long it would take?

So, my question is.... do I make you all suffer and NOT finish this story on my blog?  I know that is so mean.  Just wanted to see what you all would say about that?  And, would you read a novel about this story?

I don't know if I'd pick up a novel about this topic and read it without a "word of mouth" recommendation - I don't read a lot of suspense or dark tales, since I only (rarely now!) read for relaxation. This story is anything but relaxing!

But, girl, if you stop now and DON'T finish this story, here for us, I might have to come find you. Seriously, that would be cruel. Torturous.

I think you should finish the blog version. If you do write a book about the story of Audrey, it might be a good read, but you run the risk of alienating some of the people who got involved while you were writing on here. Check out Pioneer Woman (google it. you'll find it). She wrote a "book" on her blog, one chapter at a time, and she's getting a ton of hits because of it. I say, keep up the good work, just not in tons of detail, and maybe you can do the book too. Besides, I'm enjoying your Audrey story. I'd be upset if it stopped. :)

You can't leave us hanging. I must find out what happens to Audrey and if Barbara ever pops in looking for the inheritance.

By the way...cute pic.

I probably would read a novel about this - only because you have teased me with so much already. That being said - I am really dying to hear the "end" of this story -or a conclusion of some sort!

I check your page EVERY DAY looking for an update. This story is fascinating. I don't even remember why you originally brought it up, but it doesn't matter now. What matters is that if I wasn't already hooked on your blog (which I was), I'd certainly be hooked now.

Many great novels started as installments in newspapers and magazines. But please give me some closure! I can't wait! I promise I'll buy a copy of the final book for ALL the details.

So if I didn't know you, I guess whether or not I would read it kind of depends on where it's going... If you could write it as a story of victory of some sort (of course that depends on how the story ends) then I would definitely read it. I love stories about people, but I don't particularly like books that are dark.

But since I do know you, if you wrote it, I would buy it and read it no matter what.

Now, PLEASE finish the story... my hint, hint in my last comment was not a bored hint, hint but a begging hint, hint. I really want to know how this ends up...

I would read it as I have been...
You are a great writer and once you started the story..I was hooked..I hope I do NOT have to wait until the book comes out to get the ending.

Well, I think personally you should write the book...but if I recommend that then you might not tell us the end of the story.
SO...don't write a book, FINISH THE STORY...please. Ahem.

PLEASE finish this on your blog! I check everyday too just to see. And if this many people are waiting anxiously for the completion of the story, I don't know why a book wouldn't work. But for your faithful followers, you should finish for us :) You are a great writer! Don't leave us hanging, pretty please with sugar on top?!

No way sister...I'll boycott that book if you don't at least give us a Reader's Digest version of the ending here! HA!

Please, please, please finish it here on your blog... If you market it as work of fiction & change the names it would make a pretty good read - depending on the ending - which I can't comment on as I don't know it yet, ugh!!! Also the family it's about can't come back and sue you for royalties that way... They'd never figure out it was about them. :) Mary

This is dark, sick stuff. Barbara must be or was possessed with evil. Even if true, there is enough darkness in our world nowadays. We don't need more. Of course lots of people like dark stuff it sells. It is like great gossip and that is sick. I have been reading your blogs since 'Miles and Miles' and you apparently have a real gift for writing. Don't waste your gift on this sort of stuff. Give us encouragement. We need to hear hear how we can overcome the pressures of life.
