Whoppers

Recently, oh... alright... 5 seconds ago, I was pilfering through the kids Halloween candy and I came across several small packs of Whoppers.

Paul says, "Why do they even sell Whoppers?  No one like them.  No one!!  I have never met one person who likes Whoppers!!"

Always feeling the need to defend the underdog, I replied....

"If no one liked Whoppers, they wouldn't make them.  There are people who like Whoppers!"

     "Do you like Whoppers?"

"Well... I don't really like them. But, they are chocolate for crying out load.  I'd eat them in a pinch.  If I was pms-ing or dying for chocolate and if they were lying around, I'd eat 'em."

"That's how everyone feels about Whoppers!"

"No!  There are people who like them and crave them and specifically go out looking for Whoppers."

"I  have never met one person who likes Whoppers!"

"Well, you haven't met everyone in the world!"

    There!  Take that!

So, I am looking for ONE... one person who likes Whoppers!  Anyone, anyone?  Bueller?  Bueller?

OMGosh! I LOVE Whoppers! What's not to love about them?? Ok, they aren't my very favorite candy but they meet the chocolate and crunch fix all in one bite!

Your comment about reading Lucy's adoption story & it making the hair on your legs grow from the goose bumps was hilarious! But, I totally agree that goose bumps really do make your hair grow! In fact, I remember in high school someone asked the physics teacher why that happens!! Mr. "Oh-So-Smart" didn't have an answer but I swear it's true.

Whoppers.

YUCK.

If that was all that was left in the candy bowl, I still wouldn't eat them.

I THINK my mom likes them... not sure, I don't. (my kids will eat them...) I think my piano teacher used to like them... she would use them for incentives. I don't know... I'm with you, if no one like them... no one would buy them... therefore, there wouldn't be whoppers!

I am so cracking up...I LOVE Whoppers...in fact, when I met my closest friend Laura, almost 10 years ago, we knew we'd be great friends because we both loved Whoppers (so there's 2 for you!)...

My favorite Easter candy is the Speckled Eggs which are really candy coated Whoppers!

By the way, I loved your comment on my blog... I too feel like we're making this journey together! What a blessing it is!!

Hugs friend...I sure wish we could have coffee together...

Hey Mrs. Isaacs! This is Amy Michael :) Somehow I found your blog (I can't remember how) but I was able to follow your adoption. So happy that the Lord has blessed you with Emme and the whole experience...I'm sure there are still blessings in disguise through it all that you will find out later. But I was so happy for you! Just wanted to comment b/c you asked for people to comment after they checked out the new one! Hope all is well!

I LOVE Whoppers. Sadly, I am extremely lactose intolerant, and can't really eat them anymore since they are filled with milk. Just as well.

Later! Susan

They're pretty good but not the best candy ever. But sorry, Paul, there are people who like em. Oh, and congrats to your Buckeyes. We were about 10min up the road from the Horseshoe unpacking eddie's moving truck during the game, but due to a lack of a hooked-up tv, we didn't watch...ah well.

Love em. Can't beat chocolate & malt. Used to work in a candy/nut store & the Malted Milk Balls were a huge seller....could have been that there was as much chocolate as there was malt....I am talking quadruple dip plus!!

I LOVE Whoppers... both chocolate and Burger King kind. :) That's all I'm gonna say about that.

They are good, but there are bad ones...have you ever bit into a bad one? The look good on the outside, so you have no idea of what might come next. But if you are blessed to have bit into a bad one, it makes you want to gag!
They are over cooked, shrivled up inside, hard and too crunchy.
So to eat Whoppers, you have to be willing to take that chance...

Yummy! Love those malted milk balls and so does my dd, Nadya. We fight for them in the trick or treat bag! I usually buy one large container of Whoppers a year to munch on and then they are gone!! :)

The blog looks great!! Love your honesty.

Ok, I know I'm way late on adding to this post, but I just recently (like the day I got 2 lines on the pee stick) NEEDED a carton of whoppers, and then finished them in...oh...2 days! And they were delicious! I especially like the chewy ones!
